First, it is so unfortunate to see Jared go this way. The past few games he has been playing so well. I’m not sure he’s even missed a shot in like the past 3 games. We really only got to see him play for a month or two at the beginning of last season, and the past couple weeks now. I think there are really only 2 explanations for this trade.

1) We are clearing cap space under the first apron to trade for someone.

2) We are trying to get under the tax enough to sign Dom Barlow to a standard deal.

Regardless, Jared will always have a fan in me and I’ll be rooting for him on the Thunder… until they trade him for a younger player making less money 😭
