I just had this debate with one of my friends. He is not as immersed in the NBA fandom and analytics as us on here, but he has a solid knowledge of players and play styles (I think).

I said Harper was a better player, being more established and more valuable on an NBA scale. His main rebuttal was that VJ puts up better stats and is a better defender. I then shot down the defense claim, showing him Dylan’s measurements. I also argued that Dylan would be better in VJ’s roles.

I’m not one to diss one of my team’s players UNPROVOKED (cough cough Joel and Paul), but I wanted to take an objective look at this. Let me know what you guys think.
