The team that stands to gain the most from this trade would be San Antonio. Acquiring PG in exchange for Fox is a major upgrade because Harper can finally be the starting point guard. Boston gets two first-round picks, three swap rights, Trey, who is a great player, and Murray, who could be a solid point guard and give Tatum plenty of space (and, of course, with those picks, they could try to land another top-tier player). The Pelicans would emerge from this limbo with a very intriguing Fox-Brown-Zion trio, while retaining Fears and Quinn, who can be traded in the future for picks or excellent players. Finally, the Sixers get rid of PG’s contract by acquiring three players on expiring contracts (their next goal is to trade Joel, for example for Sabonis).
