Sixers Empty out (damn near) all their tradeable assets to land Lauri Markkanen. This is a risky strategy but the ability to get a star level player on a cheap contract may be too good an opportunity to pass up. Doing this would allow them to use their cap space to flush out the roster before signing Maxey. Sixers Current Roster Looks something like this: Maxey/?/?/?/Embiid
Jazz receive:
Paul Reed (a player they initially signed, before the Sixers matched their offer)
Sixers 2026 First round pick
Bucks 2027 Second round pick
Clippers 2028 First round pick
Sixers 2028 Second round pick
Sixers 2029 First round pick + the right to swap that pick with the clippers
Sixers 2030 Second round pick
Sixers 2031 First round pick

Sixers use their cap space to sign (overpay) the following players:
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope - 3Y $82.5M ($27.5M per year)
Miles Bridges - 4Y $60M ($15M per year) (I know its gross but someone is gonna sign him)
Andre Drummond - 2Y $14M ($7M per year)
Sixers then sign Maxey to his max deal, while he will make $35,500,000 this year, only $13,000,000 will count toward the cap.
This puts the Sixers over the cap but under the Luxury tax, which will give them access to the full Mid-level exception. They will use the MLE to Sign Naji Marshall to a 4 year deal. Taking a swing on the development he's shown.
The Sixers also have access to their Bi-Annual Exception this year. They will use the BAE to sign Evan Fournier to a 2 year contract. Adding some much needed height to the backcourt, plus him, Embiid and Nico can be french speaking buddies.
Finally Sixers plug the last holes in their roster with 3 guys they've had waiting to sign Minimums.

The only reason I think this plan isn't doable is because Morey is too stubborn to make that trade.
