This trade is very much based off the initial offer from the pacers for simmons: Brogdon and #13. Since this was knocked back, I think a lottery protected pick on top would get it done if the Sixers could get Lowry involved in it.

Toronto: Maxey and a lottery protected 1st is a great return for a player likely to leave in free agency regardless, no reason Toronto doesn't do this unless they really want to get Lowry out of the Atlantic division but I suspect they would be happy to send him back to his home city.

Indiana: They offered 13 and Brogdon already for Simmons, I doubt they would be unwilling to do this with only the addition of a heavily protected first.

Philadelphia: Get an all star in Lowry, a borderline all star in Brogdon + #13 is a good return for Simmons. Losing Maxey is a shame but I doubt there would be many Sixers fans who would take his potential over the playoff experience Lowry brings. Keeps them competitive in the regular season, makes up for enough of Simmons' defense lost and a playoff roster less likely to implode on itself with genuine shot creating guards.
