HE PROVIDES NO SPACING
Demar derozan is a career 29% 3 point shooter on 1.5 attempts per game, As the sixers do have legitimate spacing issues (Bottom 3 team in 3's attempted) with key guys like Maxey, Embiid, and harris need space in the paint to opperate, it makes legitimately 0 sense to add such a low volume shooter to our roster
HE IS NOT A GOOD ENOUGH DEFENDER
Despite nick nurse doing a solid job with our defensive scheme, we consistently have issues with guys like maxey and embiid being hunted in the pnr opening up our back line, We had guys like Oubre and Nico to provide extra defensive juice but with them out, why would we add at best a solid defensive player to our rotation
HE IS NO LONGER SUPERHUMAN FROM THE MIDRANGE
Averaging a career low in midrange shot% if im not mistaken at a pitiful 34.2% why would we want to add a player whose best strength has been bad thus far? Also with him climbing up in age it is ebst for us to avoid any harden to the clippers type of scenario
PLAYOFF WOES
His stats in the offs speak for themselves, with embiid and harris being questionable in the offs consistency wise offensively why would we add one of the most notorious playoff chokers to our roster?
All in all a trade for derozan makes 0 sense and should honestly be seen as a bad, lackadaisical move if it costs anything more than 2 seconds and a swap
