OKC are rumored to head into a rebuild next year, with CP3 trade talks already engaging. Thus, it's of their best interest for them to trade their expiring 6moty runner-up Schroder for assets.

For Sixers: You get the scoring punch you need in Dennis Schroder who was a near 40% shooter this season, who can both come off the bench for 20 ppg or start with Ben at the 4. They give up JRich whose been very streaky, Mike Scott whose fallen off the rotation a bit (and replaceable) as well as Zhaire Smith, an intriguing prospect but likely one to not get minutes with the rise of Shake and Matisse. The seconds won't matter much, since you keep all your firsts and still have 3 more seconds for any future Al Horford trades.

For Lakers: Lakers get a 3&D wing, players that excel next to LeBron James. JRich had a down year in shooting, but with AD and Bron, his looks should be even more open. They give up Kuzma, whose been pretty bad this year's playoffs, and Quinn Cook whose not in the rotation. Its possible Laker fans expect more from a Kuzma trade, but I don't think his value's as high as most expect. It's possible they can't bring back Avery Bradley / his injury makes him lose a step on defense so this would be very valuable.

For Thunder: You get a player in Kuzma, whose shown flashes of brilliance, but clearly needs a change of scenery to excel. Schroder's expiring, so to get a few seconds, Kuzma and Zhaire who could potentially be something (As well as 2 expiring contracts that they could waive if needed) is a solid return.
