I’m not even sure this trade works, because I imagine the Clippers would have to cut one of those 3 guys for it to happen. But honestly, I don’t hate it.

Barlow and Justin are both young guys who aren’t bad at all, and in the right situation I could see both of them getting real minutes and actually playing a role.

For us though, I think the bigger need is wings and athleticism, and that’s why I really like Derik Jones Jr. here. He feels like the perfect type of player for what we need.

And if we end up getting a center at the deadline, I’d imagine it would probably be someone on a rookie contract anyway, so I don’t think this trade necessarily cancels out the other one. You could realistically do both.
