If we had to choose only one, I think Bruce Brown is the obvious choice. We already have guards, but we really need more wings who can defend the perimeter. Bruce and KCP could basically be our defensive guys off the bench who can also knock down threes, while Philone and Simons would be the ones handling the ball more and creating offense of the bench.

I don’t have as much to say about Kevin Love because I don’t think he can give us a ton on the court anymore, but he brings something that people don’t always appreciate enough: great energy and championship experience. Having guys like him around the team can be really important when you’re trying to compete for a title.

The problem is that to sign both, we’d probably have to trade or waive two players who signed rookie contracts, and I think they’re both pretty long if I remember correctly. So I’m not sure how realistic it is, but if we could get both, I’d definitely be happy with it.

And this has nothing to do with them, but I also think Caleb Love could end up being one of our best free-agency additions.
