Some of these are just guys to make the cap work so don't overreact.
-Jazz get their pick back for Lauri so they can tank effectively & add a forward who can contribute now so they don't lose their roster & possibly for the next few years at a cheaper rate. They also get a movement shooter who can space the floor for their non shooters.
-LA gets PG13 to make a push & give up nothing of value to do so besides the guy whose spot he will be taking in Rui.
-OKC can absorb Joel's contract & has the team to let him get healthy for the playoffs so they can take out Denver, rather than relying on the whistle to beat Jokic who had his way with a far worse team around him than he has now. When healthy he is still a top 10 player. This move gives them a shot at becoming that dynasty. And they even have the assets in 2 years to move off him when their young stars' contracts become the max should his body betray him again, more likely he's an asset when they deal him again.
-76ers blow up the process. The contracts of Tobias Harris & PG13 set the team back for years & was the reason this HAS to happen at this point. They get a pair of firsts including their own first next year, a 3rd option max, a role player at center & expiring contracts to offload PG13 & Joel. Their roster is too good to tank without a bunch of injuries & too bad to compete so they deal for Lauri to get a bottom 6 playoff spot this year while they regroup.
