JIMMY BUTLER TO PHILLY

Losing Jimmy Butler will go down in history as one of the top 5 worst things the Sixers have done in franchise history, But now they have a chance to right their wrongs. With Jimmy Butler's time in heat jersey seemingly coming to an end (though Pat Riley has said the Miami Heat are not trading Butler) he would be welcomed back by former teammate Joel Embiid, the two were close friends in Philly and Embiid has used the methods Butler use to inspire him For his new Co-Star Tyrese Maxey. You can see all Three of them clicking immanently, they all are willing to do whatever it takes to win. The fit wouldn't be seamless but it would work! Jimmy can adapt to his environment, having the two best and most consistent scorers in the NBA Jimmy wouldn't have to run himself to the ground. (The iconic picture of Jimmy tired in the bubble comes to mind) Another major plus is that Jimmy Butler is one of the best leaders in the NBA. (he would also reunite with former Heat teammates Caleb Martin and Kyle Lowry who he is very fond of)

AGBAJI, MITCHEL, AND RICHARDSON With rookie standout Jared McCain out for the season, the Sixers need bench depth at the guard/forward position Davion Michell (26) is just flat-out one of the best defensive guards in the NBA and would fit in a Nick Nurse system perfectly, a small guard that can guard 1-3 is insane. Agbaji (24), who is on his second team in 3 years could work out to be a mainstay in Philly, he reminds me of a 6'5 Robert Covington very active with his hands and can guard 1-4 and holds his own, and has been knocking down the 3 this year at 41% clip on 4 attempts per game. Richardson would be more of a throw-in to make money work and help Miami with flexibility going forward he is solid but he's been injured for most of the season. (I believe the Sixers should trade for Agbaji and Mitchell even if not a part of this Butler trade I like they fit on this team)

WHY TORONTO DOES IT Davion Mitchell is 26 on an expiring contract and I don't think he fits Toronto's timeline they traded nothing so getting picks back for him would be a plus. Ochai on the other hand is 24 with one more year on his rookie deal and could be somebody they want to keep but they also just drafted Ja'Kobe Walter and they have Grady dick so he's (OCHAI) expendable. Toronto gets back KJ, Ricky, Eric, and Reggie. KJ Martin is still only 24, on a great contract for one more year after this current season, and was playing some of the best basketball of his career before he got injured. Ricky Council (23) would be a fun addition for Toronto like KJ he's a high flyer with a strong frame defensively, he needs more development but hasn't received consistent minutes with the Sixers, but should be a steal of this trade once he gets constant minutes. Reggie Jackson still has some gas left in the tank. He can still run a second unit and shoot the trey so he could be useful for a young team. Eric Gordan is cooked on a vet min so they'll likely just release him.
