I don't anticipate this trade to happen anytime soon but I believe it's possible at the deadline.

Why Sixers do it: Parting with Melton might be a tough decision but if it means acquiring OG and Siakam, why not. It's a risk given that they're both on expiring contracts. But this might be the lot Morey had been looking to acquire all along.

Why Nets do it: Well this is an easy one. Even if Simmons plays decent this season, he's just been such a headache and a reminder of what was such a failure of a team that moving on from him just seems inevitable. To be able to acquire a shooter who makes up for the loses of Curry & Harris, and a defensive specialist at the 4 spot would be a good return for the declining Simmons.

Why Raptors do it: At this point of the season this Raptors team might be wise to start tanking. Their pick next year is owed to the Spurs if it lands outside of the top 6. Which means if they're even seeded around the play-in zone come February, it wouldn't make sense to keep competing. And that scenario seems highly likely. This leads them to the direction of building around Scottie Barnes, starting with tanking to retain their pick.

They get Simmons, Harris, Melton and a 2030 unprotected pick. Remember, everything they're trading is an expiring contract so come deadline their value has already depreciated. Simmons could be a useful player given that he brings you everything but shooting, a rebuilding team would benefit from a player like him and won't feel the hit of his contract as much. Melton would be an easy re-sign in the offseason, Toronto will have the cap space to offer him as big as he could hope for + he's played for Rajakovic before in Memphis. Similarly to Simmons he does a little of everything, he's shorter but unlike Simmons he can shoot. As for Harris, as an expiring contract he gives them cap room in the offseason. That could be very useful in acquiring enough talent next season for a quick/er turnaround.
