Why They do This

1. Build a legit contending lienup

2. Strengthens their weak defense

3. Gets a great bench lob threat rebounding center who is good defensively

4. Only trade 2 firsts and 2 prospects for pascal and get back 2 seconds for hield, huge win value wise and allows them flexibility to upgrade in the future

Magic

Why They do This

1. Opens up more minites for guys like suggs and black, fultz was eating them before the season

2. Adds much needed spacing around Paolo and Franz

3. Keeps their defensive identity

4. Allows for cole to start, their best shot creating guard

1. Get a legit backup Point Guard which they need

2. Get off contracts they dont like
