So after winning the championship Curry retired leaving a huge gap that Mikel brown Jr wasn’t able to fill on his own due to his lack of consistent shooting so we made a FA move and signed Darius Garland and made two trades one of them we traded Toumani Camara and two second year rookies for Gradey Dick and Max Christie

Starting 5 Brown Jr Booker Dick Boozer Malauch

Backup 5 Garland Christie Dunn Filppowski Williams

During the season near the deadline we were not nearly as good as last year so we traded Mark Williams and two future FRP for Bam Adebyo so we had the same lineup just with Bam starting and Malauch off the bench

We finished as the 3 seed we swept the pels in round one then in round two we were down 3-1 against the mavericks and came back to win in 7 we then beat the rockets super team of Amen Green Eason Giannis and sengun in 6 before beating the wizards with AD Sarr and Johnson big 3 in only 5 games

Booker one conference finals and finals MVP and he and Boozer were both all stars

In the offseason we decided not to make any moves and just resign our guys and try to run it back and 3 peat championships but we would be far worse this year

We finished as the 6 seed and played the rockets super team again and won the series in 6 games boozer at this point over took booker for the best player title and averaged 29-9-5 in the playoffs round two we got lucky playing the 7 seed pelicans and we beat them in 6 as well but in the conference finals we played 1 seed San Antonio and got swept in the wcf

The spurs went on to play the Jokic knicks and lost in 6 so NY got their championship after all

Since we won two championships which is one extra then the one that we needed to complete the challenge we will get a small boost for next time I’ll spin a random wheel to determine what the boost will be

Now I’ll list in my opinion the five most important players during this rebuild

5 Steph Curry he was only here for 1 year but he was so important in that year

4 Khaman Malauch he was a great bench player for us every year and provided high quality consistent defensive play

3 Mikel brown Jr he was our starting PG for 3 of the 5 years and was great the year off the bench as well

2 Cameron Boozer he was a good player for two years and a superstar for two more he even made all nba 3rd team his last year very impressive for us

1 Devin Booker he was there from day one and was a 4 time all star 3 time all nba 1 WCF MVP and 2 time Finals MVP no doubt he’s the best
