Losing GG and Jaylen stings, but it’s for KD—so who cares. If you're worried about depth long-term, Jaren can always be flipped later for picks or rotation pieces. You’ve got options and some seconds to soften the blow.

Suns: Perfect retool. You bring in grit, youth, and athleticism around Book, which has been badly needed. You get another 1st this draft and a valuable unprotected 2031 Memphis pick. Most importantly, you now have wing depth, size, and a respectable big man rotation. ( All this also reflects on what is done with Bradley Beal no shot at him but he cannot be on this roster next season, this move should be done first).
