If the Suns make the play-in and aren’t in the lottery I think this would be a reasonable trade to get some of their picks back and some young talent. The Suns would likely give Kevin Durant the 2 year extension that way the Rockets or whatever other team would be guaranteed 3 years of KD. And this also depends on the Rockets having a disappointing end to the season. If they make it to the WCF they probably wouldn’t make this trade.
