Why the Bucks would do this: They get to move an oft injured Middleton for a reliable scorer in Bradley Beal who can still space the floor and allow Giannis to do his thing. Losing Portis is tough but Jovic can arguably do what Portis does and he's younger; this can be a gamble that pays off.

Why the Suns would do this: They get Jimmy Butler and a knockdown shooter in Connoughton. Suns lose some defense with Royce but gain that in offense with Pat. Jimmy provides some grittiness and defense to a team that's lacking both.

Why the Heat would do this: Instead of letting Jimmy walk for free they get two picks in return. Middleton is not the same as Butler but when healthy can definitely contribute...and if not healthy, he can be moved for maybe another couple picks. Losing Jovic hurts but Portis and O'Neale can easily be good rotation pieces.
