As a Grizzlies fan, the Trae young trade made me completely rethink Ja’s value, I think this makes sense for both teams. Suns get a real pg who can set up for other players while also playing with an attacking mindset that can complement bookers perimeter play, for Green who let’s be honest, never would work with Booker because of too similar play styles, and Oso who is just a young you know what you get big. For the Grizzlies you move on from the Ja era while still getting back an intriguing explosive offensive player that has all star potential in green and a reliable young back up big in Oso. The hope would be Green takes off as “the guy” around young filler pieces. Suns would be buying into Bookers prime by giving a young “hit or miss” player and taking a chance on Ja who clearly has the higher floor and ceiling, and still having a very good 3 big rotation. Grizzlies buy into the Reset/Retool around the young players they already have and add a young offensive threat and young solid big. Healthy line ups for each team;
