The Grizzlies have fizzled out in the 1st round of the playoffs. The Suns have failed everyone. Why not start over and help both parties?

For the Grizzlies, the move makes sense. Trading 6 players for 1 seems massive, but it’s Kevin Wayne Durant. You don’t give up a crazy amount anyway. Those picks aren’t exactly Wemby-level material. A starting 5 of Morant, Wells, Durant, Jackson Jr., and Edey, along with strong bench pieces, would certainly contend for a championship. They can sign players for good value off the minimum (Gary Trent Jr?)

For the Suns, you can either rebuild and trade Book and start the entire thing again, or you can continue building around him. I mean, Tyus, Booker, Bane, GG Jackson, and Brandon Clarke with Beal off the bench isn’t that bad.
