Overview: After Jimmy Butler requested a trade in 2018 the Rockets offered 4 first-round picks for Jimmy Butler, but the Timberwolves traded him to the 76ers instead for More win now pieces.

What has Happened:

Rockets: Injuries in the playoff stopped the Rocket from winning a championship with James Harden and Chris Paul. James Harden eventually got traded to Brooklyn and the rockets are now rebuilding.

Timberwolves: The Timberwolves trade Butler to the 76ers for robert covington and 2 second round picks. After Butler got traded the Timberwolves started being bad and were a lottery team for Multiple years and are now a decent team.

What could have Happened:

Rockets: With a big 3 of James Harden, Chris Paul, and Jimmy Butler the Rockets would definitely win at least 1 championship. They would have been an amazing team, but after they would leave the Rockets would have to rebuild with no picks.

Timberwolves: They would have a very bright future and would have contuined rebuilding around KAT and Wiggins and would Likely have never traded Wiggins to the warriors and would have on of the brightest futures in the NBA.( Im still very mad that they didn't accept this)
