I gave my best effort in creating this four team trade (unrealistic/rare in real life) and attempted at making it a win for all of the teams involved. There is too much going on for this to be an actual trade in reality, but please respectfully share your thoughts & opinions…
Timberwolves: Get below second apron, sign a much needed playmaking shot creator to help Ant in Malik Monk, grab a wolves-killer in Brandon Clarke (small-ball frontcourt w/ Naz?), and regain some draft capital from the Gobert trade.
Hawks: Trade Trae for a beefy return, acquire young promising players in Ziaire Williams & Keldon Johnson, now have picks #1 and #4 this year, avoid years of rebuilding by eating Karl-Anthony Towns’ contract.
Spurs: Found the perfect running mate for Wemby, maintain the #8 pick, swap Keldon Johnson for De’Andre Hunter (better fit imo), and always nice adding a veteran like D Rose to a squad like this.
Grizzlies: Grab a certified double-double with Clint Capela to help with lack of size and rebounding, avoid risk of Brandon Clarke not being the same post-injury, escape the log jam of forwards currently on the roster, and some more cap space for next year.
What should I change or how would you do it differently? Please share…
