Minnesota gets rid of randle, charlotte get their starting center

SUCCESS

The picks moving back and forth might need some rethinking for some teams to want to pull the trigger on this, but this is my logic.

After a horrible playoffs, Minnesota wants to get rid of Randles 33m salary from next year, and how harsh it may be, they do not need 12.5m of injured money on their books from Divencenzo, moving both for a lot of wiggle room in the cap sheet allows them to comfortably resign Dosunmu in free agency, along with Conley and Bones Hyland. Miles Bridges keeps the offensive punch on the 4 position relatively high but at about 65% of the cost of randle, and Royce O'Neale is a high value backup wing.

For Charlotte, even after a great run this season, it's clear they need a better starting center, because Diabaté simply doesn't cut it for a team with playoff aspirations, and nic claxton is just what they need. They also get an expiring contract that they can either try to resign as soon as possible or they can let him walk and have a lot of room available in the 2027 off season.

For Brooklyn, they get a highly experienced veteran to mentor their army of rookies and sophomores, while Randle next to MPJ might look awful and hurt my soul, if there's a team that can take on Randle, it's going to be brooklyn.

For Phoenix, they get some much needed secondary playmaking from Mann, which I personally think is quite the win now move, and quite frankly, it's either one more season of win now mentality or straight to the rebuild. They move on from maluach who hasn't proven to be nba ready in his rookie year.

For Indiana, they get a raw big with low expectations who might grow into a solid backup center in a year or 2, for now, he sits behind Zubac and Huff while the pacers make a run to finals, and by the time this core reaches their prime, Maluach has the potential to be a solid, 20mpg backup big.
