Rockets' fans, would Houston even consider this? (referred to notes for explanation.)

FAILED

The only reason I can think of for the Pacers to accept this offer is taking Josh Green's expiring $14 million contract and first round swaps in 2030 & 2033 to get off of the the final three years of Tari Eason's contract. I know Eason's performance last season wasn't, perhaps, up to the expectations the Rockets had for him when they gave him his contract. That being said, I'm highly skeptical. The rockets will take this offer from Minnesota

Two 1st round swaps and a $14 million expiring isn't necessarily a terrible deal for a decent player that only plays 25 minutes game and last season only put up a replacement level performance- that being said, I'm not sure what I've proposed would be all that enticing for Houston and I don't think Minnesota would be interested in giving up either Jaylin Clark or Terrence Shannon Jr. to complete a deal. (he certainly wouldn't include Joan Beringer and according to reports, it looks like they're not interested in trading DDV, as they hope he's able to return to the team by the playoffs ). I really don't think Minnesota could make all that much better of an offer – unless they include. Bones Hyland and I don't think that would move the needle for the rockets.

If any Rockets fans happen see this hypothetical trade, I'm really interested in hearing your thoughts.

Thanks,
