Defense + Offense = Championship

SUCCESS

Why? PG position isn't really that much of a problem considering how much ball handling and defensive gravity the core of Ant, Naz, Jaden, and Randle do. An issue clearly is the lack of shooting and the absurdly poor bench (especially the big). To solve this, Rockets send out Tari Eason 5.6M (high 50% 3fg%, great defender) and Josh Okogie 2.2M (former wolf, great POA defender and capable of creating his own shots) for Rob Dillingham 6.5M and Jaylen Clark. Wolves are swapping potential for immediate, rotation-ready defensive wings and a shooter to complement Edwards and the core.

Houston takes a swing on young potential with high upside in rob and great poa with even greater shooting potential in jaylen clark. these moves are to solve rockets' recent point guard issue (putting Reed Sheppard on starting after FVV's injury) + a 2030 and 2032 RD2 for draft capitals. Incoming salaries are minimal ($6.6M + $2.1M), giving them space to maneuver around the cap for future moves (plus asset accumulation.) Eason might walk away for free too, just like Kessler Walker. This way, Houston leverages his expiring contract and prioritizes upside, youth, and draft flexibility, making the trade appealing even if the immediate impact is modest

Utah converts a potentially departing center into a starter, two upside wings, and a pick (classic Ainge move). DiVincenzo offers strong shooting and secondary playmaking. Acquiring multiple second-round picks (2027, 2030) and younger players gives Utah draft assets while moving out larger contracts (Kessler, Love). Utah is balancing near-term roster improvement (scoring and wing depth) with long-term flexibility (picks, youth). Essentially, they offload two expiring/underutilized contracts while acquiring assets for the rebuild.
