Bucks do it because they need to cut their losses on this Giannis situation and other teams are skeptical to sell the farm for him.

Magic do it because Suggs/Black are redundant. This frees up Black as their PG of the future while buying themselves a top defense.

Mavericks do it to get younger and fit with Coop's timeline.

Wolves take the risk on older/injury prone players to go all in on Ant's prime. Giannis not only being the hurricane he is offensively but also someone who can slow Wemby down; Kyrie to take pressure off when they want to send a million double teams at Ant.
