The Dual Mock
I'm running a mock that will start August 10th.
SIGNUPS ARE CLOSED
Premice of the mock: You guys comment an available team of your desire and I'll put your name in to be the GM of that team for the mock. On August 10th, I'll spin a wheel multiple times. The wheel will decide the COMBINATIONS OF 2 TEAMS. This mock will be of competition in TEAMS OF 2 that will be randomly selected by the wheel. I advise that those who sign up will be able to be respectful to those they may be paired up with and will be able to agree on trades with other groups.
Rules:
FA's will be off limits. No bidding for FA's. No buying FA's in any way. If an IRL free agent signs with a team during the mock, then the GM of that team in the mock will just have luckily earned a new player
No salary cap
No stepein rule
Be kind and respectful to your partner and to other groups in the mock.
Each group will be responsible for entering a roster of 20 players by August 15th. Only one member of each group is required to submit a roster, but I advise that the submitter's partner then aproves of the roster via comment on the roster post and roster collection post.
The two people in each group can negotiate which players between their 2 teams will be kept in the final 20 player roster. Players in the mock MAY NOT trade or receive any players outside of the 20 player roster. Any players that are decided to be left out of the team's final roster are basically removed from the mock entirely. They do not become FA's to be signed by any other team.
Trade negotiations begin August 15th ONLY FOR THOSE WHO HAVE SUBMITTED A 20 PLAYER ROSTER. You MAY NOT take part in trade negotiations without a roster submitted.
This mock will be 3 seasons long and hold 2 drafts. The first draft will be August 30th. The drafts will be on a draft post I will make where each team will comment who they would like to draft. Each team will be "on the clock" for 3 hours. If a team doesn't comment a player to draft in that time, then that team will forfeit their pick.
If I can get a volunteer to simulate the games on 2k, then I'd really appreciate it. Otherwise I can post polls where people can vote who would win the playoffs, bracket style.
Trade confirmations will require all 4(or more, if there's a 3 team trade or smt) people of the 2 groups(or more) to confirm the trade. If a partner doesn't confirm the trade within 2 days, then the trade automatically is accepted.
I can veto and confirm any and all trades.
