Gum-I briefly touched on this topic in the last post, but I wanted to explain the failures caused by having gum on a date. If you're chewing gum during a date, then there are many things you can't do comfortably or easily. You can't eat, drink, kiss, or making an obnoxious chewing noise. When you're done with your gum(flavor runs out or whatever), it's not sanitary to grab it out of your mouth and place it in the trash(trust me girls care about sanitation) and it's not very professional to spit your gum(or anything) in the trash on a date or in front of your girl. What I'd recommend is you chew gum at least an hour between having any food and the date. A more specific time frame would be you are done chewing gum at least 10 minutes before seeing her. Your breath is fresh and you still have the sweeteners are still keeping you awake and alive(comment the song reference to that below if you know it😉). If you have to drive to meet her, then spit your gum out before leaving for that.
Homecoming-The popular thing to do when asking a girl to hoco is to make a big corny sign, go outside her house, and get her to come outside and say yes to hoco with you. A cute thing to do would be to coordinate what colors you 2 are wearing. It's a good gesture to let the girl pick out her dress, then have the guy find an outfit to match her dress color(s). If you're going with a group of people, then guys, coordinate whether you want to do slacks+nice shirt+maybe ties, or if you want to do full on suits. You don't want to be the only one not wearing a suit or the only one not wearing a simple nice outfit. Most of the time it's the woman's responsibility to coordinate where the group(or her and her date) are getting pictures taken. If you're gonna get her flowers, match the flowers to her dress color too, if possible, unless it's roses, then it's fine to go outside that rule. If you are asking a girl out, for hoco, for prom, for a date, then it's your responsibility to pay. This rule applies to food, driving her places, and souvenirs. If she offers to pay for the whole bill, then offer to split. If she offers to pay her part, then you should politely accept her offer. Even if you split, you need to make it clear that you're financially responsible enough to pay for YOUR date.
Spectating-Women typically notice, keep a mental record, and spectate how guys treat other women around them. ESPECIALLY their friends. Politeness is kind of dead(at least the male stereotype makes it dead) in our society. Politeness is a very valuable characteristic that'll help you get your girl, and it's simply amazing to use for the rest of your life. Tell your teachers, female waiters, her mom(assuming she still has one, not to be morbid, just being realistic) Yes Ma'am and Thank You Ma'am. It doesn't take a lot to be polite and it builds self confidence when exercising it. Helping an old lady cross the street and making small talk while in line for something are some easy ones.
