Guys idk how this has gotten to part 4 like what in the world. If you guys want a PART 5, then this’ll need 15 likes and flames. Also I’m gonna need some specific topics you guys want to hear about because I’m pretty much out of ideas.
My qualifications for this are I have a gf, we talk daily, and we’ve gone on multiple dates. Take my advice or leave it idc.
Girl talk-Girls talk to each A LOT more different than guys talk to each other, which is fine, but girls get bored of talking to guys who can’t keep a conversation going a long time. I have one friend who will guy talk with me and we’ll have plans for a hangout made in like 4 texts(combined between both of us) and I’ve got another friend who is so good at girl talk it’s crazy. He knows how to keep a conversation going and he can get girls laughing too. Getting girls to laugh is gold for wanting to talk to girls. Some easy ways to do this are exaggerating everything and referencing random funny things that are indirectly related to whatever you’re talking about(that the girl will actually understand and find funny). After things get awkward in your conversation(which I hope never happens for you guys), a safe play to go back to that reference(only if she understood it and/or found it funny) and build a conversation off of that topic.
Dreams-if you and your girl don’t have generally the same dreams or aspirations, then when you’re actually in a relationship of some sort, then you’ll practically be playing tug of war fighting for where you want to take your relationship to. I hope that makes sense. Like if she wants to move far away at some point in time(once she’s an adult, once she can afford it, finds a good partner, etc) and you don’t, then you’ll probably be met with sad goodbyes somewhere down the road. Where you guys want to live, what you want to be when you’re older, and how you want to change the world will always be factors of interest in each other, because you’ll end up spending a large portion of your life on those topics. If you have similar dreams as her, then you’ll have plenty of things in common for many months, and even years to come.
Forever or Never-If you’d rather be doing something else in your free time than spending time with the girl you like, then you won’t ever want to do that at all. Don’t get me wrong, life happens and there’s always immediate priorities that are different to each person, because we’re all busy in different ways. With that being said, don’t that guy who loves your console more than her. Next time you have free time(you probably have free time rn if you’re reading this) ask yourself if you’d rather be with your special someone rn, and next time you’re with that person, ask yourself if you’d rather being doing anything else right then. Your answers to those questions will really have you reflect on your level of interest in that person.
