So the Warriors are not looking too great as of now. Ever since their impressive 12-3 start, they have fallen off a cliff. They now have lost 16 of their last 23 games after losing against the Pacers on January 10th. Yes, they didn't have Steph and Draymond for that game, but you still lost, which leaves you at 19-19, 11th in the West. And after they face the Raptors today, they have a very challenging schedule for the rest of January. They have to play the Timberwolves, Wizards, Celtics, Kings, Bulls, Lakers, Jazz, Thunder, and Suns.
Now on the players. I don't know what kind of issue does Kerr have with Kuminga, he's been averaving 16.8 points per game, the second leading scorer on the team, and he still doesn't start him. Dennis Schroder needs to start shooting the ball better, his shooting percentages have plummeted since joining (from 18.4 points on 45% shooting from the field and 38% from 3 in Brooklyn to just 9.9 POINTS on 33% from the field and 25% from 3). Buddy Hield needs to be more consistent. And Steph is still Steph, but he needs to stop this good game, bad game cycle. He's 36 years old, but he's still shooting the lights out at his age (but at an inconsistent level). He can drop 30 on your head one game and then he drops a tour date the next game. If the Warriors want a chance to qualify for the play-in, they need to start winning now.
