Something I noticed about my beloved warriors..

This is something I've noticed off late from our games and this is definitely up for discussion coz I'm no 2025 Kenny Beecham level game watcher, I'm more than a casual for sure though.

When the warriors play a team without their star player (player who has the most touches on the team), we seem to no do so well. This, I feel, is probably coz of Steve Kerr and the overall coaching. When we play a team with their star player, we have managed to come up with amazing defensive strategies to limit their star(s) with our great defensive duo with Jimmy and Dray, but when their star player isn't there, we fail to understand/comprehend how to guard the team with different players taking their chances.

Now am I saying that the warriors can't defend well-rounded teams? NO. My issue and concern is that we are not good in impulsive decision making when it comes to our defense. Not from the players perspective, but more on our coaching.

Recent examples for this is indeed the Nuggets game, but also we can observer yesterdays win against the Pelicans. The pelicans without a bunch of their main players, were not too far away in points, in fact they were leading in the first quarter.

Now how do we improve this, frankly, I don't know, but this is JUST AN EARLY OBSERVATION. We need our coaching staff to be more efficient in impulsive decision making so that we can come up with effective defensive strategies for the same.

AND OH YEAH, ENOUGH SMALL BALL, SEND A GOOD FUCKING ROTATION FFS.
