Golden State acquired Jimmy Butler and Duncan Robinson in exchange for Andrew Wiggins, Chris Paul, Kevon Looney, 2 First Round Picks (2026,2028), and 3 Second Round Picks.

Golden State traded away their core pieces in their title run against the Boston Celtics in 2022. Andrew Wiggins and Kevon Looney were great pieces in their championship run. Andrew Wiggins is a solid wing defender and shoots the ball at an average rate, he has not yet been the same since he came back from his issues. He was bench for half of the season and still averaged solid numbers but not great. Kevon Looney was a locker room and glue guy for this Warriors team. He has done almost every dirty work on the floor with Draymond and is a great screen setter for Curry. He has been benched, mostly getting DNPs with TJD rising and Kumings playing mostly the Power Forward Position.

Both might need a change of scenery and help another team win. Miami is a great team because they already have the pieces and with CP3, Wiggins, and Looney's veteran leadership. I think this Heat Team can make it to the Conference Finals.

Jimmy Butler and Duncan Robinson will have a chance to play with one of the greats. Duncan Robinson can be alongside Steph, who can run around screens, being a solid Klay Thompson kind of replacement. He can be a suspect on defense but he has held his own in some moments and Kerr might want to get more physicality from him. Butler will bring energy and toughness alongside Green. Butler has been a Point Forward and could easily make this Warrior team prolong the DYNASTY but potentially Klay not being in it. Golden State might gamble with Butler because of his leg injury.
