GSW adds a second option.
Although I would hate to lose Looney, but this addition is good. Nikola Vučević is a solid and reliable source of 20 PTS and 10 REB. And he's also a good passer.
Starters: Curry, Wiggins, Kuminga, Green, Vučević. Bench: Podz, Hield, Moody, Anderson, TJD GP2, Vet min guy, Santos, Post, Beekman (or Spencer)
15 man roster.
We can insert JK because Vučević is a goalscorer/shooter. It doesn't clog the bottle for JK. Vučević will find him on his cuts to the rim. AW and JK are not game creators. Playing with 3 playmakers makes their lives much easier.
AW playing at 2 is also very useful defensively. If more defense is needed, we can replace JK with GP2 and we will still have Vučević on the court.
In one fell swoop, we address many of the issues this team faces:
We have a second option.
JK's fit for him to play the game which, for now, is the only thing he knows how to do well.
If greater perimeter defense is needed, we can just replace JK with GP2 and have AW and GP2, creating hell for opposing perimeter players.
It won't cost that much in assets, maybe at most, a first-round pick with some protection.
