with jaylen brown being in trade talks, i believe the warriors to be one of the teams with the strongest packages. if the warriors were to give up their picks into the future, jaylen brown is the perfect player to do it for. he can help steph curry win now and can still be a valuable player post steph. for the celtics, they’ll have to be ok with waiting for jimmy to get back because when he is healthy he is still one of the top guys in the nba that impacts winning the most. i can still see him easily being a 20 5 and 5 player post injury. tatum and jimmy can still make the celtics a top team in the eastern conference. sure this trade doesn’t fill the void at center for the celtics but it gives you the assets to go and get that. bp being in the trade gives you some insurance on a derrick white who is getting up there in age. i believe the celtics did mess up putting their fmvp and all nba guy in trade talks for all these years but this trade is definitely a strong return for a guy of his caliber. if the celtics want an all nba center then they can have those sign and trade talks with detroit for jalen duran but they are a conference rival so i guess it’s not the most ideal scenario. it’s going to take mike dun and warriors management to man up and take a risk because they haven’t done shit. let me know your thoughts in the comments and plz like n flame.
