Warriors give backloaded 105/4 deal to Turner, Pacers opt not to match with Mathurin's contract looming and opting to keep their roleplay depth. Still allows them to move Siakam in a possible deal to upgrade their second option in a potential KD deal.
Nets get JK + draft comp for Claxton, which is probably the best deal they can get for him unless the Lakers are trying to part with Reaves or Giannis says he wants to be a Net. Whatever assets they end up getting from trading Cam Johnson + DLO (if they resign him like I did) at the deadline will make a decent young core they can rebuild around. Cam Thomas and JK shot chucking should also keep them in play in contention with a horrible Eastern Conference.
Pacers, like I said, probably will not opt to match any contract Turner gets. Team is getting very expensive, and unless they end to move off some combination of Toppin/Nesmith/McConnell/Nembhard to pay Mathurin, which they won't, do not see them paying Turner what he deserves/gets offered on the free agency market. And yes, I know the Claxton is still making 25 mil a year, but it is still much less than 104/4 that the Warriors will give Turner in this scenario.
Warriors, well, get off of JK in the best possible scenario imo. Adding a stretch big, who can play along side Dray + Jimmy from ability to stretch the floor and a very good defensive player. Allows Dray to not have to guard the best big and slide more into the help role, which he exceeds at.
Adding Lonzo to play the 2, and be POA/be a third ball handler for Curry/Jimmy. Hopefully playing with Curry and him getting open looks will allow him to be a 38% or so three point shooter similar to how he was the last few years before his injury.
Bulls, will probably need a first to move on from Lonzo, but I am not completely sure. Lonzo is a player who needs the ball in his hands more times than not, and same thing with Giddey. Moody allows them to clear their guard rotation up heavily, and Moody can easily play the 3 and be the POA defender along side Matas Buzelis, and Vuc (if he is not dealt by the season) in the frontcourt.
