Since the Warriors have done nothing, I went ahead and did something that they could possibly do. Sign and traded Kuminga for Coby White. I’m not fully sure if the Bulls would do this but it seems like something they’d do to take a chance on a young guy in Kuminga and capitalize on Coby White’s value right now before he declines a bit. Warriors use the MLE on Boucher to give them an actual center who can also shoot. Al Horford wouldn’t be the best here because he is getting old and I feel like it would be best to have a younger center for this team next to Draymond. In a high role Chris Boucher thrived so as a starter I think he would do a much better job. Warriors and Celtics are the teams that are the closest in the Damian Lillard signings and so why not the Warriors sign Dame? Take the risk on him and have him sit out this year and come back to a team that gives him a great last shot to win a ring. The Warriors have nothing to lose doing this. By getting Dame, they lose a roster spot this year but build for next year if this year doesn’t go well and get a guy who plays similar to Steph and can be a guy who comes in and plays a 6th man role of scoring and facilitating off the bench. Another move that I don’t think is the most realistic but is something we all want to see with GP2 coming back to the Warriors on a 2 year vet minimum deal. Even though we traded for two guards already, GP2 plays more like a forward so it would be a better fit.
