It's painful for every fan, hey I know. But this is business so emotional decisions cannot be made.
SC, BB, DH, DG, TJD CP, BP, AW, DS, KL
GSW get rid of inconsistent Klay and adds BB, who's shooting better and also brings a bit of ball handling skills. DH is a good defender and can play both forward spots and shoots from three and FT better than both JK and AW.
When Kerr wants to go small with DG at the 5 DH and AW can coexist on the floor, unlike AW and JK, because DH is a better 3-point and FT shooter. The second unit continues with CP and DS that combine very well, along with BP who is also a high BBIQ player.
Toronto: Essentially they trade Siakam for Kuminga and a first-round pick. It's a good return on an expiring contract. Just let Klay's contract end and let him leave. It's a win for them.
Atlanta: They keep Murray, who's a ball handler and can create his own shot alongside Trae. They add Siakam and can re-sign him in the off-season, without the long contracts of BB and DH who won't be missed much because of AJ, JJ, SB with smaller contracts, thus avoiding having a payroll in the tax zone, which is where they like to be.
For me it's a win-win-win trade for all three teams.
What do you guys think?
