The wizards played well last night, which is one thing, but it's how they did it that surprised me. Instead of seeing CJ get hot from 3 or something, it was the young guys that carried us. Kyshawn Georg was AMAZING. Not only did he get 34 points, 5 stocks (steals + blocks), and 4 assists, but he also was the best rebounder on the team, getting 11 rebounds. And the best thing is he could've done better; he had 5 fouls and 5 turnovers, many of which can be prevented with experience.
Kyshawn wasn't the only player who showed out tonight. Sarr put up what might seem like a mediocre stat line, but he was defending Anthony Davis pretty well. Also, Bilal has long been considered the best young piece on the team, and he didn't even play. Tre Johnson looked great off the bench and will hopefully start soon. I am ready for a lineup of PG. I am so ready for this new Wizards era. GO WIZ!
