Warriors get: Anthony Davis Why: Ring chase with Steph one last time with AD and LeBron who signs with them in FA because of the AD trade. They get to maximize Stephs final years in a final all or nothing attempt at one last championship. We would also get the see Steph and LeBron share the court in the NBA even if its in the twilight stages of their careers.

Mavericks get: Yaxel Lendeborg, Cam Whitmore, Justin Champagnie, 3 second round picks Why: Dusty May wants to work with Yaxel again and now gets two of his Michigan players to ease him into his new job. Justin Champagnie can be as good as his brother, he was just on the Wizards who were trying to tank last year. Cam Whitmore still had potential to be a decent role player for the Mavericks who are already trying to build around Cooper Flagg anyways, sobrhey could take the next 1 or 2 years to try and develop him. The Mavs would also get 3 of the Wizards’ 4 2026 second round picks to held their rebuild as picks or to be traded for a first in next years draft

Wizards get: Derek Lively, Jimmy Butler, 2029 unprotected Warriors first round pick Why: Derek Lively can be an elite rim protector and also contribute on offense as a lob threat/pick and roll menace. He’s already proved he can do that with Luka in 2024, why not do it with Trae in Washington now? Jimmy’s a negative asset with his huge contract and locker room attitude. He also wont be back until February. The 2029 unprotected first could be very valuable if the Warriors are going through with their superteam of uncs, but that’s the price you have to pay for a championship.
