WAS has 18 players under contract for the 2025-26 season. On here, it doesn't show Will Riley & Tre Johnson.
Trades:
Dillon Jones gets traded to Philly for the $3.9M trade exception (via Caleb Martin), and a 2nd round pick.
Blake Wesley & a future 2nd round pick get traded to SAC for the $4.7M trade exception (via Jalen McDaniels).
Malaki Branham & a future 2nd round pick get traded to POR for a $5.1M BAE & a future 2nd round pick.
For SAC: I'm unsure if they'll trade players like LaVine or Monk. Having Blake Wesley isn't the greatest player, but it's some guard depth to have if they don't want to play Terence Davis.
For POR: Same goes for SAC... It gives POR depth with another guard. I still thought they had Dalano Banton.
For PHI: They get a forward who wasn't bad for OKC, but was a guy who plays with energy & intensity on both ends of the court. Can guard multiple positions and is like a junkyard dog type player.
