Bucks: If Giannis is not on the Bucks, I don't see why Dame would want to stay in Milwaukee. Trading him for VanVleet's expiring contract and Reed Sheppard, who could possibly break out with increased opportunity, plus the super valuable Nets 2027 first, is a best case scenario in my opinion. They also get the Rockets 2028 first, which most likely will be in the 20-30 range.

Rockets: They finally get the go-to scoring option in Damian Lillard. Dame could ease back into playing after his injury. He adds shooting, clutch scoring, and would be a great mentor to Jalen Green. I think this is really a great fit because the Rockets can draft a shooting point guard like Fears or Jakucionis to fill in for Dame while he's injured.
