One darkhorse for Kyrie is Miami -- a team that is last in the league in PPG has been eyeing upgrades over Lowry. Kyrie adds a much needed infusion of scoring, and the respect he commands from opposing teams would undoubtedly open things up for Jimmy and Bam. However, with the potential for Kyrie to be a half-season rental, Miami should seek at least some draft compensation.
For Brooklyn, this is a solid return for Kyrie given the risk that comes with acquiring such a volatile player on an expiring deal. Lowry is obviously not the player he was in 2019, but is battle tested and can provide leadership for a Nets team that still wants to compete in the near term.
In addition to Lowry, Oladipo is a good player for Miami to include given his upcoming player option.
