Both players can use a change of scenery. Ridder doesn't really air it out and I think that's what's crippling the usage of Kyle Pitts in ATL. Insert Jerry Jeudy who is an excellent route runner that can impact plays in the middle of the field as a #2 to Drake London. On the contrary, Sean Payton has had great success with tight ends such as Jeremy Shockey, Jason Witten, and Jimmy Graham. None of them had the speed that Kyle Pitts has though and Russell Wilson still has an outstanding arm to get him the ball deep. The things that Payton could scheme up with a player like Pitts could have him producing like prime Darren Waller in his system. I think the trade makes sense, especially with the Falcons getting a (conditional) 3rd round pick. The conditions I'd personally say is that if Pitts makes a pro bowl or exceeds 900 yards in any season between this year and next year, it's a 3rd round pick. Otherwise it is a 4th rounder.
