Potato's Official and FINAL "What I Would Do" Mock Draft.

1:1 (TEN) - QB Cameron Ward, (Miami)

-This team is closer to being complete than what others think, and if they get the QB right, that will reveal itself by elevating everyone else. Ward is not generational; he has his flaws in arm strength and throwing technique. But he is still worth a 1st round pick and the best QB in the class. It’s a shame that he is going to have the pressure of being the number 1 overall pick when he might not be up to that level. At least it’s Nashville, not New York. For reference I had a similar grade on Penix last year. He has his flaws too being age, injury concerns, being a lefty with an odd throwing motion. But I was still higher on Penix then most and he still went top 10 and looked decent in his limited game time.

1:2 (CLE) - QB Shedeur Sanders, (Colorado)

-Now, opposite of Tennessee, I do NOT think this team is close to being complete. However, that does not mean they are not desperate for a QB. QB play in Cleveland was so abysmal that is why its so hard to even identify what their greatest needs are. Sanders may be destined to fail here, but he is going to answer questions about this roster, as in, do we have our guy? And where are the holes? Do we need a new coach? Going BPA here does not answer any of these questions; it almost just stalls everything. Sanders is still a fighter both in and out of the pocket. Even if Travis Hunter became a star WR in year 1, he's not making you tune into Browns games, and he's not reaching his potential with terrible QB play. Drafting a QB does miracles for the salary structure of this team moving forward are well. IRL it is actually more possible for Browns to take Hunter here and still get Sander at the top of the 2nd or by trading up. But seeing as I am mocking for everyone in this draft there is not way I am having Sanders fall out of the top 10. He has the potential to be a Tua without injury concerns and make an instant impact like Bo Nix (well would be hard to do on the Browns but I mean in general).

1:3 (NYG) - RT Armand Membou, (Mizzou)

-The OL is still the Giants’ greatest need. The DL and WR1 are one of the team’s FEW strengths. Membou is going to be a monster run blocker off the right-hand side. At worst, he's going to be Becton, hopefully with no injury concerns. I also think this pick is important because of how much of a bust Neal was at RT. But I am curious to see if moving Neal to G could fix this issue, resulting in a pretty solid OL, DL They've upgraded at QB as well. I understand taking Hunter as well and I thought about flip flopping here. Everything I am going to say about the Hunter pick can be applied here. I just think Membou is safer of a pick.

1:4 (NE) - E Abdul Carter, (Penn St.)

-Pats would have to choose between the best defender in the draft or a WR/CB hybrid. Hunter is intriguing as he could be an elite CB duo with Gonzalez or give Maye a WR1 or both. But the last team I think would play Hunter on both sides of the ball is NE. Also, everyone said that the NE defense was going to be so underrated last year and was going to be able to keep this team afloat. Shocker. It didn't. But Carter is a game changer and could make that all true.

1:5 (JAX) - CB/WR Travis Hunter, (Colorado)

-I think this would be the perfect situation for Hunter to fall into. I think Hunter has more upside as a WR than a CB. Some say he is a better CB day 1, which I don't disagree with. What makes Hunter a true top 5 pick is his ability to play both. The reality that he will be able to play 100% of snaps on both sides is not feasible. But for JAX, it makes perfect sense for Hunter to come in and be CB1 day 1 while "moonlighting" on offense as a WR2 to BTJ. Cohen will get the best out of Hunter, as he loves to play 3 WR sets more than almost anyone else in the league.

1:6 (LV) - RB Ashton Jeanty, (Boise St.)

-Do I have to say much? Jeanty is a monster, and LV needs an RB and will fit the way Carroll wants to play as well.

1:7 (NYJ) - DT Derrick Harmon, (Oregon)

-Harmon is my best defender in the class. NYJ needs to get back to the borderline elite defense that they had just a few seasons ago. Harmon is an interior pressure machine and will excel in collapsing the pocket. His weaknesses are finishing sacks, but they will be more challenging in the NFL with increasingly more mobile QBs. However, he will still stop the run at a high rate and has the potential to be the cornerstone of a DL with Sauce and co. Holding down the secondary. Also, all that injury concern bs is just smoke and a dirty move.

1:8 (CAR) - WR Matthew Golden, (Texas)

-He's extremely fast and creates separation. This is what Carlina has been missing since DJ Moore left. I also think we are all in agreement that it is now or never for Bryce Young. Give him the weapons he needs and find out. Thielen is your Z in the slot. Xavier Legette as your outside Y. And Golden has the potential to be a great WR1 X. I think the similarities in speed, size, route running, and separation creation all reminds me of prime Stefan Diggs one of my favorite WRs of our generation. Oh and don't forget Coker too.

1:9 (NO) - OL Will Campbell, (LSU)

-Saints have a lot of needs, but none are greater at OL. I would be curious where they decided to play Campbell, if it’s LG, LT, or RT, and thus where the other OL would be shuffled to. But he has all the makings of a franchise player, either at G or T.

1:10 (CHI) - DT Mason Graham, Michigan

-Graham and Harmon and Nolen are 1a, 1b, and 1c for me. Graham makes an immediate impact on the Bears’ defense. His ability to run side to side almost like a linebacker makes him a unique and elite run stopper. He may not get into the back field for sacks or TFL like you want him too, but he prevents explosive plays and I think could be a secret weapon against mobile QBs allowing teams to get away with downs without a spy.

1:11 (SF) - DT Walter Nolen, Mississippi

-By far the most pass rushing and sack potential out of the 3 DTs. I think he is the perfect Armstead replacement, able to move to the edge or interior to wreak havoc.

1:12 (DAL) - RB Omarion Hampton, North Carolina

-They may have missed out on Jeanty (and Golden) but Hampton is still a 1st round caliber prospect and a desperate need for Dallas. He also is a better pass catcher and blocker than Jeanty, and imo the 3rd best pure rusher in a very talented RB draft class.

1:13 (MIA) - OT Josh Simmons, Ohio State

-Very fluid mover meant for a West Coast offense and zone blocking schemes. He is passing everyone’s medical check as well. Idk what these character concerns are all of a sudden it feels like another dirty move like the Harmon injury smoke.

1:14 (IND) - TE Tyler Warren, Penn St

-May have missed out on Bowers, but Colts are going to get their TE. Warren is more your traditional TE who can block but also take over games as a pass catcher. Poor man’s Kittle.

1:15 (ATL) - CB Jahdae Barron, Texas

-Falcons are desperate for Edge, but I have also been crying for AJ Terrell to get some help in the secondary. Barron is a hybrid nickel or outside CB with the best instincts and reaction speed in the class. I think he fits seamlessly with the Falcons’ heavy Cover 3 defensive scheme, which is why I wanted the Falcons to take Quinyon Mitchell last year.

1:16 (ARI) - CB Will Johnson, Michigan

-Back-to-back CBs. They are 1a and 1b for me. Arizona made the DL not as desperate of a need and still needs a CB1 to sure up the defense. I really thought about taking another gadget LB for them since they love them (Zaven Collins... Isiah Simmons...) But not like those have really worked out either lol.

1:17 (CIN) - OT Kelvin Banks, Texas

-The OL continues to be a problem for Cinci. Especially the interior, where they can't get the run game going to save their life. An issue that needs to be solved. I don't like Banks upside as a T because on film, he just seems a little stiff and clunky. Does not have the elite bend like Simmons. I think he is a plug-and-play LG here. I think they can then spend the rest of the draft basically going BPA on defense and try to keep Hendrickson and run it back. When healthy this is a Super Bowl caliber squad picking at 17. Scary if they get this pick right.

1:18 (SEA) - LB Jalon Walker, Georgia

-With Walker slipping a little here, Mike McDonald looks for his Bobby Wagner or Roquan Smith. I don't see Edge or Micah Parsons in Walker, but instead Devin White, he could come in and be the best blitzing MLB who thrives sneaking up the gut, not winning 1v1 on the outside against elite NFL Ts.

1:19 (TB) - LB Jihaad Campbell, Alabama

-Swiss army knife and freak athlete who can stop the run, blitz, or drop into coverage. It’s his upside as a blitzer that makes him a first-round talent in my eyes. Perfect fit.

1:20 (DEN) - WR Tetairoa McMillan, Arizona

-I'm not a big fan of Tet. I think he is slow and one-dimensional. I think it’s a myth that he's a contested catcher, and because of these issues, I think he has limited upside as an outside WR. In the slot and over the middle, he can do his damage, similar to Michael Thomas under Payton. I think he fits Nix's short but accurate passing game, where the Broncos can slowly but methodically move up the field.

1:21 (PIT) - QB Jaxson Dart, Mississippi

-Not taking a swing on a QB would be throwing the season away. And if you were throwing the season away, why would you have traded for Metcalf? Dart has a lot of questions or red flags with him, like Ole Miss's gimmicky offense and his arm strength. However, Ward and Sanders do not have an arm either, and Justin Herbert and Bo Nix thrived in the NFL on day 1 despite having a gimmicky offense in college. Hell, Daniel’s just won OROY with a gimmicky college offense IN the NFL. Dart is still very mobile, tall, and overall athletic. The production speaks for itself. 4,200 yards, 29 TDs, and 7 INTs. Right in the same ballpark as Ward and Sanders statistically but doing it in the SEC much much harder competition. His 3,300 yards last year were only 2nd to Daniels’, and I love how Dart steadily improved each year. I wouldn't say the QBs in this draft are 1a. 1b, and 1c... But there is a clear 1, 2, 3 and I think they are all in the same tier with similar potential. Dar easily lands with the best possible situation here.

1:22 (LAC) - NT Kenneth Grant, Michigan

-Perfect fit. Reunited with their coach and immediately solved their biggest issue, the rush defense. Best run-stuffer in the draft.

1:23 (GB) - OT Josh Conerly Jr., Oregon

-I’m a lot higher on Conerly than most. He’s just a very, very solid T prospect. The other tackles are not surefire franchise guys or have more upside at G.

1:24 (MIN) - SS Nick Emmanwori, South Carolina

-Freaky freak athlete. Comes in and fills a need, and they don’t have many. Can Blitz be the next Derwin James?

1:25 (HOU) - WR Luther Burden, Missouri

-YAC machine, honestly, an unprecedented prospect. The best gadget WR I’ve ever seen. Paired with Collins and Stroud would be ELITE.

1:26 (LAR) - CB Trey Amos, Ole Miss

-Perfect fit in their cover 3 scheme. He is a model NFL CB who excels in zone but also can press.

1:27 (BAL) - OLB James Pearce Jr., Tennessee

-Very productive, very explosive. These character concerns seem legit, but I do not know what to make of them. I think he will thrive in a good culture and add a lot to this Ravens defense.

1:28 (DET) - E Shemar Stewart, Texas A&M

-Traits monster. I think this is a perfect destination. I think if you’re banking on Stewert becoming an elite E1 anchoring a defense, then he will flop, but as a high-end E2, he can shine picking on Ts when Hutch pulls double teams. You have elite speed on one side and now the power on the other side.

1:29 (WAS) - WR Emeka Egbuka, Ohio State

-Surefire crafty slot WR that will be an instant connection with JD year 1.

1:30 (BUF) - OLB Mike Green, Marshall

-Very agile with elite bend, I wonder how he will do against NFL caliber Ts, as he can’t win with power, but he’s very fast.

1:31 (KC) - CB Maxwell Hairston, Kentucky

-Freak athlete super physical. No one values speed on offense and defense than the Chiefs, and he replaces Sneed.

TRADE: Browns get 32 Eagles get 33 +

1:32 (CLE) - RB Quinshon Judkins, Ohio State

-Browns moves up just a tad for the 5th year option. I think Judkins is plug and play the Nick Chubb replacement. Power backs are very rare in today's NFL, and I have Judkins as the 2nd best pure rusher in the class.

2:1 (PHI) - FS Malaki Starks, Georgia

-Another classic steal by Philly

2:2 (NYG) - TE Colston Loveland, Michigan 2:3 (TEN) - WR Tre Harris, Mississippi 2:4 (JAX) - OL Grey Zabel, North Dakota St. 2:5 (LV) - OLB Donovan Ezeiruaku, Boston College 2:6 (NE) - OT Aireontae Ersery, Minnesota 2:7 (CHI) - E Mykel Williams, Georgia 2:8 (NO) - QB Quinn Ewers, Texas 2:9 (CHI) - WR Jaylin Noel, Iowa State 2:10 (NYJ) - G Tyler Booker, Alabama 2:11 (SF) - OL Donovan Jackson, Ohio State 2:12 (DAL) - NT Alfred Collins, Texas 2:13 (IND) - CB Shavon Revel Jr., East Carolina 2:14 (ATL) - NT Tyleik Williams, Ohio State 2:15 (ARI) - DT Vernon Broughton, Texas 2:16 (MIA) - FS Andrew Mukuba, Texas 2:17 (CIN) - FS Xavier Watts, Notre Dame 2:18 (SEA) - C Jared Wilson, Georgia 2:19 (DEN) - RB TreVeyon Henderson, Ohio State 2:20 (SEA) - WR Kyle Williams, Washington St. 2:21 (TB) - CB Benjamin Morrison, Notre Dame 2:22 (GB) - E Nic Scourton, Texas A&M 2:23 (LAC) - WR Elic Ayomanor, Stanford 2:24 (BUF) - LB Carson Schwesinger, UCLA 2:25 (CAR) - DL Deone Walker, Kentucky 2:26 (HOU) - OL Jonah Savaiinaea, Arizona 2:27 (BAL) - OT Wyatt Milum, West Virginia 2:28 (DET) - CB Azareye'h Thomas, Florida State 2:29 (WAS) - E J.T. Tuimoloau, Ohio State 2:30 (BUF) - DT Joshua Farmer, Florida State 2:31 (KC) - E Landon Jackson, Arkansas 2:32 (PHI) - DL Darius Alexander, Toledo
