NFL Draft First Round Grades

Panthers: A-

Bryce Young is still my QB2 by small margins, lucky for Bryce he’s gettingnthe better situation.

Texans: A+

CJ Stroud is my QB1 and Texans didn’t have to trade up for him.

Texans: A+

Will Anderson is the best player in the draft idc how much they traded up for him he can be really really good.

Colts: B+

AR15 is a big risk, one I’m all here for. Was not expecting this from one of the most boring front offices and teams in the league. The key will be the right coach and system.

Seahawks: F

Poor Witherspoon, I’m not for CBs being picked in the top 10 unless it’s a generational guy like Sauce. CBs often need time to develop and are not instant impact. They also are often scheme dependent and even the best ones in the league are not making as much as an impact as a QB, DL, or Tackle. Plus they don’t even need a CB.

Cards: B+

I like Paris Johnson, and I love him on AZ, he’s just not my favorite Tackle prospect.

Raiders: A

Tyrese Wilson is a beast and this defense needs an influx of talent everywhere.

Falcons: F

I’m sure this one will spark the comments section... I’m not saying Bijan Rob is not a top 10talent or even a top 10 pick... I think he’s a terrible selection for the Falcons. First here’s some common problems with RBs in general: injury prone position, can find a starting caliber of RB Day 3 of any draft, and paying them never goes well for the latter two reasons... Here’s the case for the Falcons: they have so many damn holes and RB is one of the few they don’t have, they need WR and QB and everywhere on defense. Allegeirer was top 5 or 10 in every major category and was hitting his stride at the end of the season with Ridder. Anyone who plays Fantasy knows what Patterson the gadget man can do. If Bijan Rob went somehwere else (like the Eagles) he could have been an A+.

Last point is I think they could have traded back and still got him. I think it was only because of the Falcons taking Bijan did the Lions take Gibbs so early. I bet the Lions were hoping to take Gibbs at 18.

Eagles: A+

Jalen Carter is the 2nd best player in the draft and as a DT maybe the most valuable non QB. His charges don’t concern me if he was already a pro and this happened people wouldn’t care for longer than a few weeks. This will be forgotten in a year at max. Let’s hope he just learns from his mistakes.

Bears: C+

I had a low first round grade on Wright. Weirdly he’s known for his pass blocking which Bears maybe are gonna try to do more of?

Titans: A+

This was a dream scenario for the Titans. Skoronski as a tackle might be the best in the class... but as a GUARD which I project him to start as for the Titans he could be one fo the best in the NFL year one.

Lions: F

Jamayr Gibbs is not special. I liked Najee Harris, Jonathan Taylor, Deandre Swift, and many more past RB prospects better than him. He has a low first round grade for me. Again taking a RB is more of a luxury pick not fit for a rebuilding team much less a rebuilding team that already has two RB1s on the roster...

Packers: A-

Van Ness is a beast who can play inside and outside, great fit for the Packs

Steelers: A+

Steelers get my number 1 tackle prospect Broderick Jones at 14 when he could have gone as high as top 5? You’re gonna see the Steelers STEAL this draft class.

Jets: C+

The fit and need is good I just had a 2nd round grade on McDonald, maybe the pro scouts see soemthing I don’t I hope he proves me wrong.

Commanders: C-

Here we have the Commanders in a perfect oppurtunity to get a top 10 prospect and the best CB in the class and passing on it for Forbes. This is why you’re the Commanders.

Pats: A+

I love the memes about Belechick in PAIN that he can’t trade down this year but how can you when the best CB in class falls in your lap.

Lions: D+

I really like Campbell I do, he might end of being the best LB in the class! But the fact is its not good value to take any LB in the first round outside of a generational talent. They could have gotten him round 2 where they had high picks.

Bucs: C

Kancey is a project a true boom or bust project, a little too risky for me at 19.

Seahawks: B+

Not sure why the Seahawks are trying to draft the exact same way every year but hey they their choice of WR at 20 that’s great even if JSN not my choice the margins are slim.

Chargers: A

Q. Johnston is my WR1 in the draft, and I’m not even saying he’s gonna be the best year 1 but I love his athletic upside he lands in an A+ environment to prove me right.

Ravens: B-

Interesting choice by the Ravens, Addison killed the combine and is seen really safe pick. Zay Flowers is a good player but they need a WR superstar but just another pair of hands.

Vikings: A

Maybe the best WR in the class slipping down to the Vikings in the 20s again like it always has. He’s gonna feast

Giants: A

Banks is gonna be a stud and he’s a great fit to bolster the already good defense.

Bills: B+

Don’t get me wrong I love Kincaid and I love taking a TE. This is a team who can afford to take a luxury pick like a Gibbs or Kincaid. I just prefer Mayer and Washington.

Cowboys: F

There dream pick for me was Kincaid or Gibbs so imo they should have gone with Mayer or another skill player. Instead they get one of the least impactful positions a NT. And I don’t even think Mazi Smith is the best one in the draft he’s very unathletic compared to other DL prospects.

Jags: A

I love the value, fit, and need of Harrison to the Jags.

Bengals: D

Myles Muphy was not the move. There are better prospects like Nolan Smith on the table AND you’re a team who can afford to reach for a boom or bust prospect.

Saints: A+

I do not care about the injury concerns I think they were hugely blown out of proportion this isn’t an offensive skill player we’re talking about ya’ll. He’s doing the hitting. Bresee is gonna be fine.

Eagles: A+

Hate to see a team who just made the SB win the first round by such a landslide but here we are. Their elite DL is gonna be here to stay.

Chiefs: B-

It’s a safe pick which is why I don’t like it. Their were riskier Edges and much riskier players like Mayer or Washington that possibly could have kept the league guessing on our offense. Also if we were gonna go so safe I would have preferred a corner who’s more of a need imo.
