Welcome to the new Pac 12! This new look conference has a lot of potential in the future, but for now, this is mostly a building from the ground up year(s) for them and just trying to build their own legacy one step at a time.

1. Boise State (CFP)

Take note of that for a future post. The Broncos are truly built like a P5 team and has 30+ years of history to back them up dating back to the Dirk Koetter and Dan Hawkins era. That's beside the point, and I want to focus your attention to their RB due in Dylan Riley and Sire Gaines who I think are the ying and yang of this offense. If both aren't on the same page, then that throws QB Maddux Madsen off like it did when Jeanty wasn't playing well.

2. San Diego State

HC Sean Lewis has dealt with winning at a poverty program in the MAC, and now he is in his third year one of the most financially supported G5 programs who is now entering the Pac 12. He also has a untackelable RB Lucky Sutton that will be a talk of the town.

3. Colorado State

This is going to be one of the top teams in the conference right away. Pac 12 veteran HC Jim Mora (the son of the Jim Mora that said "Playoffs!?") is bringing a lot of his UConn players with him and has used the transfer portal to rebuild this entire team.

4. Oregon State

First year HC JaMarcus Shephard has been making the rounds trying to get fans and students excited for the Beavers this season, and he has me sold. It also helps that I was a huge fan of his back from his Purdue days with producing Rondale Moore and David Bell. Realistically, all he needs this season is for Maalik Murphy to play like he did at Duke, accuracy and less turnovers, which I think he will and will lead them to a bowl game right away.

5. Fresno State

I wasn't really impressed with the Bulldogs last season, and there isn't anything making me think they have improved. I think they will be in that 7-5, 6-6 range.

6. Utah State

HC Bronco Mendenhall has finally made it to the Pac. I think it will be rough for him to make an impact, but will just finish just shy out of a bowl game. RB Javen Jacobs is going to breakout and S Brevin Hamblin is 6'5 and will swat anything coming his way, but it won't be enough for 6 games.

7. Texas State

The Bobcats are just going to get eaten alive. They have a lot of players returning, but they just don't match the same talent as the guys from Boise State or San Diego State and Colorado State and Oregon State will be able to match the other two faster than Texas State will.

8. Washington State

This is just a rebuild year, they aren't to the same standards yet and will just take this season to sit back and see what works and waht doesn't.
