OREGON WINS THE BIG 10

Not too much action in the BIG 10, however some important stuff still did happen. Penn State upsetting USC throws both USC and Penn State is jeopardy, as both have a case to be a top 8 seed. Michigan made a run before losing to Indiana, and Ohio State loses to Oregon. Oregon caps it off by running away with the game against Indiana, and all but sealing the #1 seed in the north.

MAC

Here is the seeding for the MAC

  1. Western Michigan

  2. Miami (OH)

  3. Ohio

  4. Toledo

  5. Central Michigan

  6. Akron

  7. Buffalo

  8. Kent State

  9. Eastern Michigan

  10. Ball State

  11. Bowling Green

  12. UMass

The bracket will look like the college football playoff, with 12 teams and the top 4 getting a bye.

FIRST ROUND

#5 Central Michigan vs #12 UMass

5 Central Michigan Wins 16-7, advances to second round

#8 Kent State vs #9 Eastern Michigan

8 Kent State Wins 34-17, advances to second round

#6 Akron vs #11 Bowling Green

11 Bowling Green Wins 23-16, advances to second round

#7 Buffalo vs #10 Ball State

7 Buffalo Wins 38-24, advances to second round

SECOND ROUND

#5 Central Michigan vs #4 Toledo

4 Toledo Wins 27-20, advances to third round

#8 Kent State vs #1 Western Michigan

1 Western Michigan Wins 31-10, advances to third round

#3 Ohio vs #11 Bowling Green

3 Ohio Wins 51-14, advances to third round

#2 Miami (OH) vs #7 Buffalo

7 Buffalo Wins 28-20, advances to third round

THIRD ROUND

#1 Western Michigan vs #4 Toledo

4 Toledo Wins 30-28, advances to final

#3 Ohio vs #7 Buffalo

3 Ohio Wins 36-27, advances to final

FINAL

#3 Ohio vs #4 Toledo

4 Toledo Wins 52-21

TOLEDO WINS THE MAC

The MAC didn’t have too much drama, however stuff did still happen. The 3 and 4 seeds made the final, but the 1 seed did make a run. The 2 seed (Miami) however lost to Buffalo in their first game, so their spot is far from guaranteed. Toledo, Ohio, WMU and Buffalo are most likely in, but Bowling Green, Kent State and Miami all do have a chance.

Now it’s your turn to decide who gets in and who doesn’t. Here is who I would pick personally, but my vote means just as much as yours;

  1. Oregon

  2. Indiana

  3. Ohio State

  4. Michigan

  5. Toledo

  6. Iowa

  7. Illinois

  8. Ohio

  9. Western Michigan

  10. Buffalo

  11. Washington

  12. Penn State

  13. Bowling Green

  14. USC

  15. Minnesota

  16. Miami (Ohio)

  17. Kent State

In my rankings, the Big 10 gets in 10 teams while the MAC gets in 7. You can do yours completely different. Just list your top 17 and your vote will be counted.

Enjoy!
