Top 10 Miami Dolphins Players Heading Into The 2026 Training Camp (750th Post Special)

As tomorrow rookies report to training camp, I thought it is the best time to reveal this list I have been working on all off season. This is my personal opinion, but I am willing to listen to critique. This is based off both how good they are and expectations. I also left all rookies off the list as it can sometimes be hard to tell how good they can be right off the gate or if they need a year or two to get settled (Jonah for example).

10. JuJu Brents, CB

Let's say Chris Johnson is going to be our CB1, so now I believe it will be between Storm Duck and Brents for our CB2, and as you can tell that I chose Brents in this position. Brents, to me, has shown a lot more impact than Duck even though both played a combined 9 games last season. Brents is also the main reason we were able to lock down Keon Coleman and Shakir was less of a factor.

9. Austin Jackson, RT

When healthy, he has proven to be a solid tackle in the league and played a vital role as Tua's blindside throughout his entire career. Now that Tua is gone and Willis is a right handed QB, I expect less pressure will be on him and hopefully a more improved, healthier self in 2026.

8. Zach Sieler, DT

Last season, he felt non existent, but after one season as DT1 under the belt and an hopeful Kenneth Grant improvement year and he will put up similar number he did in 2023 and 2024.

7. Tyrel Dodson, ILB

This won't be the only ILB you see on this list, but he plays a vital role on one of the best ILB rooms in the NFL.

6. Chop Robinson, EDGE

We have expected Chop to take that next step last season as one of the top edge rushers in the league and he never did, now with Chubb and Phillips gone, maybe he can. There is a lot of good things going for him and if he doesn't live up to that then this edge will all crumble in our face and be the glaring issue on the roster.

5. Malik Willis, QB

Similar to Chop, there is a lot going for him and even though if he doesn't pan out, I think we will still be manageable at QB with Quinn Ewers. Willis does bring something that has been rarely seen in a Miami uniform and that is being a dual threat. If he can't get his passes going, he has some legs on him that will open up space and just let those turbo jets fly.

4. Patrick Paul, LT

Patrick Paul lived up to expectations perfectly replacing a future Hall of Famer in Terron Armstead. I think he will take another step up and hopefully add Pro Bowler to his accolades this season.

3. Jordyn Brooks, ILB

Out of everyone on this list, Brooks may or may not be on roster this season if we can't get an contract extension worked out. Either way, that doesn't change the fact that he is an instant factor to the team and led the league last season in combined tackles and solo tackles while having 13 tackles for loss. I hope we can get a contract worked out soon, but with the other pieces we have at ILB and if Brooks is willing to wait, then I am not too worried.

2. De'Von Achane, RB

Achane is one of a kind and he really was one of the only offensive guys that kept us in a winning position all season. He's fast, can run the ball hundreds of yards, can catch the ball as good as any slot guy, can get to the endzone either way he needs to get it in, plus he has a total of 3 fumbles.

1. Aaron Brewer, C

Some may say that I am crazy for having Brewer over Achane, but I believe whole heartedly that this is the correct answer. I believe the OL is the most important position in the offense and it starts with the inside and works down to your tackles, and Aaron Brewer was basically our OL last season. He can do things only Jason Kelce I have ever seen do before and you can't even tell that C was not his original position. I also look at other players in other positions and I look at the C position in the NFL and don't think Brewer is lower than 3, and if Brewer goes down it will be hard to replace a guy like that while I believe we have a solid RB room if Achane skips a beat or something else like getting hurt.

Honorable Mentions

Greg Dulcich, Malik Washington, Willie Gay, Josh Uche, Storm Duck, Kenneth Grant
