We are almost done, got Falcons and then the Ravens right after. Got That Mexican OT banging in my earbuds. I'm a Southside steppin' Texas Meskin ridin' round three deep, me and Smith and Wesson.

I have been going back and forth on my thoughts on why the Falcons fire Raheem Morris after two seasons. Felt like if he had a better OC and QB coach who would spend time with Michael Penix and go through the tapes and game plan like he claimed he doesn't have, and they would be a playoff team in a weak NFC South. Turns out Arthur Blank was ready for turnover and a change of scenery. He wants something different than the same mediocrity he was getting since 2017. And that is why the Falcons created a President of Football (not President of Football Operations) so they can bring in a guy to help change the culture and bring insight to the organization. And they hired Matt Ryan. I kinda feel like Ryan will be used as a face for what goes wrong and potential scapegoat as I feel like they will swing high with this hire.
Where It Seems They Are Pointing At
John Harbaugh, former Baltimore Ravens Head Coach (2008-25)
Harbaugh is apparently going to narrow down his teams to three of four teams, and I can guarantee that three of those four will be the Falcons, Giants, and Dolphins. And I honestly believe that the Falcons think they have Harbaugh where they want him. They don't have a lot of cap space to play with right this second and they restructured Kirk Cousins contract to be able to save some money for this season. He can probably be set up to win right now with Michael Penix and some cheap QB while Penix is recovering while also prioritizing building his vision for 2027 to win the NFC and make it to the Super Bowl year after year.
Other Former Head Coaches
Kevin Stefanski, former Cleveland Browns Head Coach (2020-25)
Think this is the honorable mention hire if he doesn't end up in New York. Stefanski has been able to do so much with so much left, imagine having Bijan Robinson, Drake London, and a promising defense? The only thing that may be concerning is the fact he wasn't able to work with Baker Mayfield and ran him out for Deshaun Watson... And it didn't work out and why he doesn't have a job now.
Robert Saleh, San Francisco 49ers (DC; 2025-?)
You can say the same thing about Saleh and why the Jets didn't work out. The Jets can't win 7 games if they had prime Tom Brady and prime Jerry Rice on their same team, and they should be celebrating they won five with Aaron Rodgers.
Vance Joseph, Denver Broncos (DC; 2023-?)
Would love Vance give a second chance... Just not in Atlanta. He reminds me too much of Raheem Morris, and we know where that went with them.
Other Options
Klint Kubiak, Seattle Seahawks (OC; 2025-?)
This might be the lowest I have Kubiak, but I seriously don't see him getting this job. Feel like the Falcons want to go after someone with a little more experience.
Jeff Hafley, Green Bay Packers (DC; 2024-?)
Out of these bottom three, he has more HC experience with being a college coach at Boston College. If the top four are off the board or decline, I feel like we would see Hafley wearing Black.
Anthony Weaver, Miami Dolphins (DC; 2024-?)
Minority interview. No question. Don't see the possibility of the Falcons hiring him.
There it is. Got two more Coach Candidate lists left. Baltimore will be posted later today. Let me know your thoughts about this Falcons list down below!
