Let me start by saying that I am no expert when it comes to football, so take this with a grain of salt. These aren’t my top guys, but more so guys that I am higher on than consensus. Be sure to comment and let me know your thoughts and opinions!

Tre Harris (Ole Miss: WR)
———————————————————————————
PFF Rank: WR10
My Rank: WR3
Harris isn’t the most complete WR, but he is really really good at the things he does. He’s a true deep threat who will stretch the field vertically for an offense. He’s also one of the better run blocking WRs in the class. If you ask him to do other things, you might be disappointed. You’d be hard pressed to find a better deep threat in this class though. His production simply can’t be ignored.

Tory Horton (Colorado State: WR)
———————————————————————————
PFF Rank: WR15
My Rank: WR7
Horton isn’t the most impressive athlete, but he is an extremely productive college WR. He has great hands and excels after the catch. Don’t get it twisted though, he’s no slouch as a route runner. He also boasts impressive contest catch and catch percentages. He would have been well on his way to 3 straight 1,000 yard seasons if it weren’t for an injury this year. He’s not a WR1, but he could be a dang good WR2 either in the slot or out wide.

Wyatt Milum (West Virginia: OT)
———————————————————————————
PFF Rank: OT12
My Rank: OT7
Milum is a mauler in the run game. He’s far from a slouch as a pass blocker though! He didn’t allow a single sack over his 3 years as a starter at West Virginia. Somehow his short arms are pushing him down the board. Similarly to everyone else on this list so far, I don’t think that means his production should be ignored. At the very worst he’s a starting OG, but he could easily be a starting OT at the NFL level.

Alfred Collins (Texas: DI)
———————————————————————————
PFF Rank: DI10
My Rank: DI6
Just a massive human being who played multiple years at the highest level of college football. His numbers aren’t eye popping, but I’d contend he played a major role in his teams success. You have to give guys this size lots of attention which opens up things for everyone else on the defense.

Deone Walker (Kentucky: DI)
———————————————————————————
PFF Rank: DI24
My Rank: DI8
Similarly to Collins, Walker is just a massive human being. The difference is that Walker is even bigger and even more athletic. His stats are far from eye popping. It would be easy for him to be labeled as a project because of that. I’d contend he’ll be an immediate contributor though. You’d be hard pressed to find a player who was double and triple teamed more than him last season.
