Giants in QB trouble

With Jaxson Dart going down we don't know how much time he's going to miss. Winston came in and looked awful, one of the worst performances I've ever seen. To make matters worse, he is the ONLY other QB on the roster. The giants need and I expect will go out and get another guy to pass the ball before their date with the Titans. Luckily for them the schedule eases up, playing the Titans, then Cardinals, then Commanders. This should give Dart time to get healthy before their next challenge versus the Saints, but I don't trust Winston to hold down the fort in the meantime

Giants run game struggles

Not only could the Giants not get it done through the air, but they struggled extensively to run the ball as well. Skattebo only had 36 yards on 12 carries, and the rest of the team combined for just 16. If Dart is going to be out than Cam has to pick up that slack if they want to move the ball.

Jevon Holland is a monster

Holland was playing out of his mind, singlehandedly keeping the Giants in it for a long time. He picked off Staffords ill-advised throw into double coverage to Davante Adams, punched out the ball from Kyren Williams AND recovered it, giving the Giants the ball at the Rams 11, and causing Blake Corum to fumble, that one bouncing back into Corums hands from the turf. Unbelievable game from him in the losing effort.

Adams was unbelievable, putting up 195 yards and 2 scores in Pukas absence, the 3rd most yards he's ever put up in a single game after his lackluster week 1 showing. He was an elite deep threat and had to draw a lot of attention from the Giants secondary

Stafford is right back into MVP form and the run game is scary

Gotta give it to him, Stafford had an amazing showing after his week 1 slump, going 22/31 with 327 yards, 4 touchdowns and a pick (which was an awful throw). On top of this, they rushed for 163 yards, 85 from Kyren and 79 from Corum on 12 carries each. The unsuccessful drives for the offense included a missed kick, pick, fumble, and 3 punts, and Matthew said he felt they could of capitalized on more opportunities. Regardless that offense is elite, and that is not a squad you want to face.

LA defense suffocates the Giants in Aaron Donalds return debut

AD himself had 3 tackles and 1 TFL, but he also drew a ton of attention which gave other guys opportunities. Byron Young and Wesley Bailey each got a sack, and McDuffie played incredibly, locking down Nabers before he went down (Malik went down for a while but came back) and picking off Jameis in the endzone. This defense was back to standard, looking to prove week 1 was a fluke

Overall a dominant win for the Rams on MNF, while Giants look for answers on the offense. Wishing the best for Dart, Rams got the win 28-6
